Welcome to the 2023 Fall Conference - Join us for a day of great genealogical learning.

All sessions will be recorded and available after the conference.  

We’re happy to have our members join us at our facility in the East Village of Des Moines.  Don’t worry if you can’t come all the way to Des Moines.  We will host the conference on Zoom too.

For your convenience, we are extending the library's hours!  We will be open Friday October 13th until 7:00, Saturday, October 14th until 6:00, and Sunday, October 15th from 10:00–3:00.


Instructors

Kathleen Brandt Founder of a3genealogy

Kathleen Brandt, of a3Genealogy, is a Professional International Genealogist and podcast host of Hitttin' the Bricks with Kathleen. She spearheads Tracing Ancestors, a genealogical not-for-profit STEM/STEAM program.

You can see Kathleen's work on popular TV episodes of Who Do You Think You Are? with Tim McGraw (appears on episode), Reba McEntire, Ashley Judd, Chris O'Donnell; Cynthia Nixon, and Gennifer Goodwin; and on PBS: Finding Your Roots. Other work has been featured on CCTV Biz Asia, Dead Files on Travel Channel; and as contributor to AARP magazine. Kathleen is a celebrated Keynote Speaker and is referenced in Genealogy Online for Dummies,7th Edition.

In-person attendees - lunch registration is now closed.  There will be a few extra lunches available for sale ($15).    Lunch will be catered by InTheBag.  

Please ask at check-in on Saturday to see if any lunches are available.  Selecting a lunch option WILL NOT order a lunch or collect the money for a lunch.
